Students, TAs, and professors sometimes ask us to recommend resources for grammar drill and quizzing. We have many grammar handbooks here at the QWC, and plenty more are available in the library and for sale online. Good quizzes aren’t quite as easy to come by–especially the web-based type that provide users with immediate grading and feedback.
We now recommend Pam Nelson’s “The Grammar Guide,” a web-based grammar resource hosted online at the American Copy Editors Society. You’ll fine 69 separate grammar quizzes. Each quiz allows you to toggle back and forth between questions, change responses as needed, submit final answers, and receive immediate results. Have a look.
